Just relaunched the WoW private server, to get on:

Current server version: 3.5.5.12340

  1. Go here to create a game account. Click Register, enter the information and then click OK.
  2. Install/Upgrade game to Wrath of the Lich King (WotLK): Download Client for WOTLK
  3. Open reamlist.wtf in your favorite text editor such as notepad.
    For Patch 3.3.5a WotLK you can find realmlist.wtf here:
    Windows 2000/XP "C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Data\enUS\realmlist.wtf"
    Windows Vista/7: "C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft\Data\enUS\realmlist.wtf"
  4. Modify realmlist.wtf in your wow directory:
    Quote:
    from:
    set realmlist us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
    set patchlist us.version.worldofwarcraft.com
    set realmlistbn ""
    set portal us
    to:
    set realmlist server.clanrks.com
    set patchlist us.version.worldofwarcraft.com
    set realmlistbn ""
    set portal us

    Save and close.
  5. Optional: Delete directory Cache from C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\
  6. Wait 2-3 minutes for database to activate your account.

I'm getting things set-up still..NPC's..vendors..areas..etc.

I'm currently working on an area right now trying to customize the vendors and all. Then I'll work on the other areas later on, it'll take a while due to school :\.

What seems to be the error? The server hasn't been up at all today.

We're in the middle of..construction for phpmyadmin. Couldn't implement it and I was suppose to mess around with the MySQL files which I have no knowledge of besides in-game.

Dear players, our server's current game version is 3.2.0
Please do not update to 3.3.0 at the moment, we will upgrade to 3.3.0 as soon as possible.
Thanks for your supporting~!! Have fun~~!


Here are the instructions on how to downgrade your game version.
1. Go to the data folder in your WoW folder, delete the patch.mpq and patch2.mpq (Usually found in C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft)
2. Run repair.exe, your game version will restore to the patch of 3.0.3
3. Update your client to 3.2.0 again.
4. Follow the instructions as stated in the first post. Do not log with retail wow launcher in your wow folder., or your game version will upgrade to 3.3 automatically!
