can someone tell me how to give units/heros spells?

no need for a poll, you seriously should just look up some tutorials because these are soooooo amazingly simple things i'm not gonna bother explaining

Abilities Normal - These are the abilities that the unit starts with, if you want the ability enabled via reseach then you have to add a tech tree requirement to the ability
Abilities Default - If your unit has an auto cast ability, then you can place that ability here to automatically turn the auto cast on for that ability when the unit is spawned
Abilities Hero - Abilities that show up on the Learn Skill pannel on a hero, aka hero abilities.

You can add item or unit abilities to normal abilities, but you need to check the box for hero abilities ("is this a hero ability - CHECK!")

Alternitively you can use the function

Unit - Add ability to Unit

and to remove the ability

Unit - Remove Ability from unit

And to set the level of an ability to a unit

Unit - Set level of ability for unit
